“No Sanatani student sleeps hungry in Canada.”
We are a community‑powered initiative providing nourishing, home‑style meals to Sanatani students facing food insecurity. Every donation goes directly to feeding a student in need.
Sanatani students in Canada sign up with basic details and verify their identity via email.
Generous donors like you contribute through our partner Sewa Canada, ensuring every rupee feeds a student.
We coordinate with local kitchens to provide fresh, nutritious food to those in need — discreetly and with dignity.
Born out of a simple belief — no student should ever worry about their next meal. We are a grassroots collective of volunteers, students, and community members dedicated to supporting Sanatani students in Canada who face food insecurity.
Our name, Maa Annpurna Sewa, invokes the divine nourisher. We treat every meal as an offering, prepared with care and served with dignity. Whether it's a warm dal‑chawal or a full thali, every plate carries the love of a home kitchen.
Since our inception, we have served hundreds of students across Canadian campuses. Our network of donors, local gurudwaras, temples, and home kitchens makes it possible. Join us in ensuring that every student feels at home, even when they are thousands of miles away from their own.
Every rupee donated goes directly to meals. We share monthly utilisation reports with our donors.
Students receive meals discreetly. No one is ever made to feel like a “beneficiary” — just a family member.
Run entirely by volunteers. Zero administrative overhead. Your time and money go straight to the cause.
Every applicant is verified via passport and student ID. We ensure only genuine students receive support.
Maa Annpurna Sewa operates under the charitable umbrella of Sewa Canada, a registered Canadian non‑profit. All donations are processed securely through Sewa Canada's platform, ensuring full transparency and tax‑deductible receipts for Canadian donors. Together, we bridge the gap between your generosity and a student's empty plate.
